Plant building was started in November 1971. For this, in the area of ​​the northern industrial hub of the city of Bobruisk, an area of ​​32 hectares was allocated. Duration of construction following the approved standards was 36 months. The first 11 prototypes of the RZhT-8 liquid organic fertilizer spreader were released in September 1975. In total, 250 were produced on temporary areas in the first year of the plant’s operation.

The capacity of the Plant is 26 thousand cars per year. It was achieved in 1981. In the initial period, the plant produced 4 samples of machines: RZhT-8 liquid organic fertilizer spreader with a lifting capacity of 8 tons; spreader of organic fertilizers PRT-10 with a carrying capacity of 10 tons; RZhT-16 liquid organic fertilizer spreader with a carrying capacity of 16 tons; organic fertilizer spreader PRT-16 with a carrying capacity of 16 tons.

 

In terms of the main indicator, the above-mentioned machines corresponded to the best foreign analogs, and in some indicators they exceeded them. In December 1982, the best of the machines, produced by the Plant, PRT-10 was awarded the State Quality Mark.  One of the main advantages of this machine was that, unlike foreign analogs, it provided for the adjustment of doses of fertilizer application in the soil. Even at the stage of approval of the technical design of the plant, modern technological processes were laid down, involving the use of high-performance equipment, mechanization and automation. 

During the development of production at the Plant, more than 2 000 technological processes were mastered, progressive types of processing were introduced, such as: plasma cutting of parts, hot knurling of sprocket teeth, automatic welding under a flux layer, galvanizing in automatic mode, spray coating, processing of running parts systems on specialized lines using aggregate and special machines.

The spars stamping lines, the manufacture of bottoms and sides of PRT machines have been introduced, the production line of shells for RZhT machines, the conveyor assembly of balancers, the automated painting line for frames and sides have been modernized. A similar policy continues at the Plant at present: the annual plans for office equipment and new equipment provide for the further improvement of technological processes and equipment.

With the beginning of economic transformations in the territory of the former Soviet Union, it became clear to the enterprise team that in order to survive in the new conditions, it was necessary to expand the range of products. It was decided to manufacture machines for the mechanization of fodder harvesting. 

The first was launched the production of round balers of the PRF type. We note here that sorters of various modifications are currently being produced - PRF-180, PRF-145, PRF-110, so that they are used both on the farm and on the collective farm. In addition, small presses make it possible to mechanize flax harvesting.

The Plant took the direction to solve the problem of fodder harvesting. Therefore, in parallel with balers, TR-F-5 roll conveyors were developed, and subsequently put into production, RGK-1 unwinder-distributor of roughage. As a result, were created machines, that press hay, take it out and give out to animals.  

However, for the complete completion of the feed chain, several agricultural machines were not enough. The Plant management decided to rectify the situation. As a result, the design documentation was prepared, and a bit later the 4-rotor disc mower KDN-210, rake-agitator GVR-630 and feed distributor KRF-10 were put into serial production. Thus, the villagers are offered a complete set of machines for cleaning and harvesting feed. 

In addition to a set of forage harvesting machines, devices and machines for applying mineral fertilizers MSVD-0.5, RSHU-12, MTT-4U and MTT-4Sh were developed and put into production. This is precisely the area of ​​activity that the Plant has not previously been engaged in, but the need for such machines of agricultural enterprises and farms provides a good perspective for the development of this sector of the production program.

Today the Bobruiskagromash Plant is the largest producer of agricultural machinery and accessories in the CIS and Baltic countries. The trademark of our company is known in France, Poland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Canada, Argentina and other countries of Europe, Central and South America. The equipment is also supplied to Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Moldova, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia and others. Machines for harvesting feed are in special demand in the markets of these countries.
